The brief for Deane St was to create a Tuscan style landscape integrated with the various requirements of the client. Our approach was a rigorous one with a high attention to detail all under the pretence that ‘form follows function’. Design elements include feature mosaic plaque by local artist, productive garden accessible via the internal kitchen, timber awnings & an outdoor shower on raised biscuit rock. One aspect still under review is a rooftop open space that has view directly to the beach, due to the structural loading capacity of the building we are in discussions with the engineers to achieve an additional green space.
